Our Partners
Bible League International’s Scripture-engagement programs are carried out by local partners working closely with local churches. These partners have the passion and expertise to navigate social, economic, cultural, and political waters within their countries. Because of this, they can establish and maintain the continuity of our ministry efforts.
1. Ministry Partners
Bible League International’s ministry and programs are carried out by local partner organizations. Each country in which Bible League ministry is offered is served by at least one of these local partners. Many were started by Bible League and operate under names like Bible League Colombia and Bible League Philippines. Others were existing local organizations which adopted the Bible League programs and approach to evangelism, discipleship, and church growth. We withhold the names of some of these, especially those serving in areas that are hostile to the Gospel, for security purposes.
2. Strategic Partners
Our work with some partners extends beyond country borders, making an impact on the lives of people across many countries and regions. Literacy and Evangelism International and Prison Fellowship International are two of those partners.
The Forum of Bible Agencies International is an alliance of more than 25 leading international Bible Agencies and other missions organizations with a shared vision: “working together to maximize the worldwide access and impact of God’s Word.” This vision conveys that the Forum is not only concerned with delivery of Scripture but also, most importantly, with engaging people in the Word of God so that lives may be changed. The Forum was founded in 1990 on the belief that collaboration and cooperation would significantly increase the speed and scope of accomplishing this vision.
Billion.Global is a passionate vision to give ONE BILLON people the opportunity to hear, understand, and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ by the year 2026. This vision originated from a burden placed on the heart of Bob Fetherlin, the current President of One Mission Society (OMS). One Mission Society is an evangelical mission organization that partners with over 180 organizations and 30 denominations to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and multiply communities of disciples globally. OMS launched the Billion.Global Vision on July 1, 2016 during its biannual international conference in Marion, Indiana, and now the vision has grown to include partners beyond the organization’s influence.
Prison Fellowship International (PFI) has been helping prisoners experience the healing power of the Gospel for the past 40 years. Their goal is to address crime and mass incarceration through the use of evangelism and discipleship programs in prisons around the world. Like Bible League International, PFI is committed to providing inmates with the freedom that is only available through Jesus Christ. The two ministry organizations first partnered together in 2014.
In 2019, Bible League and Prison Fellowship partnered again to launch a 5-year joint project expected to reach nearly 2 million prisoners by the year 2024. Utilizing course videos, testimonials, and a curriculum based on the Gospel of Mark, PFI presents inmates with BLI’s easy-to-read Prison Bible upon completion of the program. Graduates are extended an invitation to continue their studies through Bible League’s Prison Project Philip Bible studies. Once inmates are released, they are encouraged to become part of a church in their own communities.
