Jos Snoep currently serves as the President and CEO of Bible League International. His inspiring leadership and energetic focus on the great need to communicate God’s Word provide clear direction to Bible League International’s mission, ensures a prudent and accountable use of resources, resolute compliance with the highest ministry and government standards, and commitment to the power of God’s Word to transform lives throughout the world.

Snoep began his ministry with Bible League International in 2005 as a fundraiser for the Netherlands office and quickly distinguished himself in building relationships beneficial to the ministry. As manager of the Netherlands office and staff, he provided innovative leadership to inspire the reach and effectiveness of the ministry.

Assuming the role of National Director of the region, Snoep expanded the network of Bible League International’s stakeholders—its volunteers, donors, board members, and global partners. Then, from January of 2012 he served as Executive Director of the Europe Division providing his characteristic work ethic, natural leadership, business acumen, and passion for ministry. Soon, he became Executive Vice President of Operations—and served in ways that naturally led to his appointment in his current role, offering a godly vision for the future of Bible League International.

“When we look at people, we are looking at them through Jesus’ eyes,” Snoep says. This “inspires accountability, for Bible League International and those who provide so generously to equip local churches throughout the world,” Snoep adds.

Serving with Bible League International, Snoep has traveled to Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia, Turkey, numerous countries in the Middle East, Kenya, South Africa, India, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, Mexico, and Colombia.

He vividly recalls his first field ministry experience with Bible League International to the Philippines—seeing small Bible studies and one-on-one conversations with prisoners, university students in Manila, the poorest in remote island churches, and training sessions for those who sacrificed so much just to learn how to help others find salvation in Jesus. “This is what confirmed, for me, that this ministry provided God’s Word in a way that was understandable and led people to salvation in Jesus,” Snoep says.

Snoep received his Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Languages from Hogeschool in Holland and is fluent in English, Dutch, German, French, and communicates well in Spanish. He and his family now reside in northwest Indiana.
